SCENE STUDY
Bill Holmes, “The Voiceover Doctor,” has decided to team up with veteran actor/director John Colella to teach a brand new scene study class. The class will teach actors how to develop characters during the audition process. In addition, the class covers techniques that will help actors go beyond the audition, so that once they get the part they know how to work in a collaborative setting with directors. Click here for John Colella’s bio.
It would be difficult to put a price on the combined experience of these two veteran actors, but we have. For a 6 week course the cost of the class is $300. Classes are on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and are limited to 10 students. Call (818) 567-149 or email us at composthq@gmail.com for bookings or information.

Margaritas, Mojitos, and Microphones is for VO actors with some experience or those who have taken VO classes in the past. The class is a one night only intensive acting workout. Normally this type of class would run three hours, but we’ve extended it to five for this special workshop.
Bill Holmes, “The Voiceover Doctor,” directs the class along with a special guest director.
Past guests have included Bob Bergen (“Porky Pig,” “Tweety Bird,” and “Marvin the Martian”) and Robbie Rist (“Cousin Oliver” on The Brady Bunch and “Michelangelo” in the live-action version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
HELPING YOUR KID BOOK VOICEOVER JOBS
As a freelance director at voiceover casting studios, Bill Holmes observed that child VO actors come into the booth doing exactly what their parents have instructed them to do. Since most parents are not voiceover actors, this generally works against, not for, the kids. Because of this, Bill Holmes and former child actor Robbie Rist have teamed up to teach parents how to prepare their children for VO auditions. This two-day seminar is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for both parent and child to learn the ins and outs of the VO business.
On day one, Bill will share his unique method for analyzing scripts based on his extensive knowledge of acting and advertising. On day two, award winning 1970's child star Robbie Rist (The Brady Bunch, Mary Tyler Moore Show and many others) will be on hand to direct the classroom sessions and provide the prospective of someone who learned how to cope with the audition process at a very early age.
Let Bill and Robbie show you the secrets that will build your child's confidence and get them booked! The two-day session is only $600. Email us at composthq@gmail.com or call us at (818) 567-1489 for bookings or information.
