WILLIAM HOLMES William Holmes has produced and directed several feature films including The Barrio Murders, Best Man in Grass Creek and the soon to be released first ever, rock and roll, horror, comedy, chick flick, Stump the Band. (stumptheband.com) Originally from Chicago, Bill started his acting career in theatre, commercials, voice-overs, improvisation and stand-up comedy. Lew Schneider, Holmes’ first comedy partner, was one half of the comedy team of Schneider and Holmes. In L.A., Holmes hooked up with Neil Flynn and they continued the comedy trail as The Bill and Neil Show. Bill has appeared in a number of films and has actually been seen on TV a few times too. One of his favorite credits was his appearance on the famed radio program, The Dr. Demento Show, performing the song, Dr. Death and the Suicide Machine, which he co-wrote with his friend Steve Atinsky, He produced and directed a number of theatre projects but most notably the critically acclaimed sketch comedy show at the Tiffany Theatres in West Hollywood, CA "Mulch Ado About Nothing" in which he also co-starred and co-wrote. Holmes is a freelance director/producer through his production company "Compost Productions" and has been heard in hundreds of radio and TV commercials around the country. |
